100% Nebbiolo from 70-year-old vines grown in calcareous soils.
Winemaking Team Notes: "Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 12 days. Malolactic fermentation done in used French oak barrels, followed by 22 months of aging. Finally, bottle aging for about 8 months. These wines are known for their ripe, voluptuous style, and can be drunk young or aged for many years.
Tasting Notes: Pale ruby red. Ripe red fruits, cinnamon and hydrangea. Fresh and silky, with elegant pomegranate and nutmeg notes. Well structured, generous and bursting with flavour. A sophisticated, powerful, full-bodied wine that creates a harmonious and well-balanced flavour on the palate. Sweet, rich aromas with notes of ripe fruits and spices. The finish is complex and generous."
