100% Nebbiolo (varieties Michet, Lampia and Rosè).
Winemaking Team Notes: "Fenocchio owns four Cru plots in three different areas of the Barolo DOCG: Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, Villero in Castiglione Falletto and Castellero and Cannubi in the Barolo commune itself.
Traditional long maceration method: natural fermentation without added yeasts for up to 40 days in stainless steel tanks. 6 months in stainless steel tanks, 30 months in large capacity Slavonian oak barrels (35-50 hl) and subsequent refinement in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: The color is a deep garnet red with ruby reflections, with a bright and lively aspect. The scent is complex and rich with fruit, floral scents, spices, underbrush and plums. It has an intense flavor with sweet tannins and a long aftertaste. The Barolo Villero expresses itself with its characteristic stimulating scent accompanied by a dry, but warm and elegant flavor which it retains for a long time."
