Hand harvested from 60 year old vines in M-A-V. 100% whole cluster fermentation, complete malolactic fermentation, aged in concrete, stainless and some 1-5 year old large barrels. Unfined and lightly filtered before bottling.
Intense inky purple color with great character and aromas of ripe red and black fruit with floral notes of rose, iris and herbs, may be aged 5 plus years. Recommended to serve with terrines, rabbit stews and grilled meats.
