NINA, Skin Contact Garganega/Pinot Bianco, Veneto, Davide Xodo 2020

In honour of his daughter, Davide has named this wine with her name “Nina”.

Pinot Bianco and Garganega are vinified separately in fiberglass tanks, both with maceration on the skins for seven days. Fermentations take place spontaneously with pié de cuve, without temperature control. The wines obtained are never filtered during their processing. The wine is blended at the end of the malolactic fermentation and is aged in a 20 hl concrete tank, from which it is bottled in the spring following the harvest. Total sulfur dioxide does not exceed 25 mg/l.

Ripe white fruit, intense floral notes. Full, balanced and with a good structure, the fruity notes of the nose return. Present and ripe tannin, good persistence and flavor.
