Sérafin Père et Fils, also known as Domaine Christian Sérafin, is a Burgundian estate based in Gevrey-Chambertin, producing wines from Pinot Noir across Gevrey and neighboring appellations in the Côte de Nuits. This cuvée is from a precious 0.31 hectare (0.77 acre) plot in Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru.
Tasting Notes: A ripe and expansive nose freely offers up its aromas of plum, violet, warm earth and a pretty array of spice elements. There is once again a really lovely texture to the larger-scaled flavors that retain both good energy and delineation on the moderately austere, sappy and firmly structured finish that displays excellent length.
